We have been in the industry for nearly 20 years, and produce commercial, industrial, structural, and custom metal fabricationProjects progress rapidly, meaning material, consumables, subcomponents, hardware, and other supplies are depleted rapidlyWe are looking for a candidate that can execute and improve inventory and purchasing processes to ensure we always have the supplies we need, when we need them.The ideal Candidate:
The perfect person will manage their time well, stay organized, and take pride in their workThey will actively plan ahead, review print sets for material requirements, and ensure inbound supplies match project schedulesThe ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sales/procurement, and be able to balance lead times, cost, and quality when sourcing from suppliers.General skills needed:
Blueprint reading (bill of materials)Computer proficiency (high)Professional Communication (written / verbal)Planning and Organization (schedule and inventory)Example Duties:
Review project schedulesReview Bill of MaterialsSubmit requests for quote to suppliersCompare lead times / prices to project requirements and place ordersMonitor on-hand materials to minimize overstockCollect supply/equipment requests from Shop LeadsPopulate schedule with receiving datesVerify receipt, quality, and quantitiesRecord invoices/expenses per project
